New England Futsal is extremely proud to announce the appointment of Richard Zanchi of Framingham, Massachusetts to its Board as Director of  Girls & Womens Team Development for all New England Futsal Affiliate Leagues.

Bill Sampaio took the occasion of New England Futsal's  pre-game Futsal celebration showcase of demonstration Futsal games and mini-futsal clinics at the Sierra Mist Pass-Dribble & Score night at Gillette Stadium to announce Mr. Zanchi's new appointment.

Mr Zanchi, or "Coach Rick" as he is affectionately called by his players was instrumental in the 1999 formation of the Shooting Stars FC Girls Futsal Club based out of Natick, Massachusetts and their subsequent rise to fame as a  three-time USFF National Champion.

"We have relied on Coach Rick repeatedly in the past and he has always provided us with very positive input and support", says Bill Sampaio.  "It is a true pleasure to have the opportunity to appoint such a fine and dedicated individual to this specific director's position". "Rick is uniquely qualified and we look forward to having his help in establishing the best girls' and womens' Futsal programs in our region, adds Bill Sampaio.
