Fall River Youth Soccer Association in partnership with Modern Soccer Camps powered by New England Futsal is excited to present a series of clinics, academies, and soccer camps starting this June

During the past 30 years we have developed and implemented a soccer training curriculum focusing on the cognitive development of children that expedites both their individual and tactical abilities at a much faster pace than "traditional" soccer.

The concept is quite simple:

BETTER SKILLS = HIGHER SELF-ESTEEM = BETTER PLAYER = MORE FUN

DATES:    JUNE 8, 15, 22, 29      JULY 6, 13        

• RUGRATS(3/4 year olds) – 8:30am – 9:20am
• 5/6 years old-9:20am – 10:10am
• 7/8 years old-10:10am – 11am
• 9 to 12 years old- 11:am – 12pm

The Mayor's Office is committed to supporting and improving the lives of young people in the
city of Fall River by providing scholarship opportunities to participate in extracurricular
activities throughout the year. The For Youth Initiative will provide the framework to build
mental resilience, self-confidence, foster friendships and develop communication skills,
teamwork, time management and contribute to improving the physical health of the city's young
people.

LIMITED NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY

Our RUGRATS program is a developmental program designed to introduce children between 3 and 4 years of age to soccer. This program is an opportunity for children, and their parents, to get involved in soccer and meet some new friends. It is similar in concept to traditional “story-hour”, “learn to swim” and “tiny-tot gymnastic” programs that are so popular.  With an emphasis on fun, our instructors will use creative and interactive games to teach dribbling, passing, ball control, shooting and more to both the player and the parents.
